Our Facility

The Museum opened its doors to the public in June 2008 at the NTC Promenade, Liberty
Station, which is located at the historic
Naval Training Center, placing us in the
center of San Diego’s flagship
destination for arts, culture, science
and technology. As a public forum venue,
we invite other organizations to partner
with the New Americans Museum on
programming that may include:
-
Oral and visual
history projects
-
Visual and
performing arts
-
Cultural events •
Lectures and speaker series
-
Conferences
-
Exhibitions
Residents,
visitors, scholars and school groups
will find the Museum a destination for
education, history, exploration,
international exchange, arts and
multi-cultural enrichment.
Exhibition Gallery
Reflecting the spirit of our museum,
exhibitions will examine both historic
and contemporary immigration to the
United States, while also serving as a
bridge to partnership with our diverse
communities.
Oral and Visual Histories Recording Studio
Families can record and preserve their histories as important strands in a rich, educational tapestry paying tribute to the contributions, hard work, and heroism to our American forbearers.
Conference and Event Center
The New Americans Museum is located at the NTC Promenade where a conference and event center is available.
